CALNET and BEA Systems in Partnership Agreement

Vienna, Virginia, March 16, 2001 - CALNET, Inc. a leading provider of e-Business integration services, announced today a partnership agreement with BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAS), one of the world's leading e-business infrastructure software companies.

For CALNET, the relationship extends its offerings of e-Commerce solutions to include BEA's Weblogic E-Business platform, including mobile commerce (m-commerce), personalization, business process management, and collaboration infrastructure software.

Under the agreement, CALNET joins the BEA partner program meeting business and experience requirements as an e-business solutions provider. Further, CALNET will certify and train business and technical personnel in BEA Systems' technologies to offer its customers access to customized software solutions built on the Weblogic E-Business Platform.

CALNET plans to incorporate BEA's technologies into offerings to vertical markets such as financial services, telecommunications, media, retail, government and manufacturing.
