Cisco's
router/hub/server technology is positioned as being one of the
most innovative technologies since the telephone. KPMG has delivered
tax and IS consulting services globally for over three decades.
Combining their strengths KPMG and Cisco have aligned; where
KPMG will leverage their Fortune 1000 clients by moving them
to standardize on Cisco networking and internet technology.
Cisco
has invested over a billion dollars into the relationship creating
a new demand for over 4000 technology professionals. "The demand
for IT professionals is already staggering. This alliance has
created a feeding freeze for Cisco engineers." Hughes stated
to Informationweek. "But they have come to the right place.
CALNET has one unique skill, and that is being able to find
those obligatory needles in those haystacks." CALNET has signed
on to assist KPMG in finding IT professionals with Networking
and Telecom backgrounds.
