EDS signs CALNET to provide technical acquisition services

CALNET, a Northern Virginia based IT and Telecom consulting firm, was signed on by EDS to provide field project managers, technical human capital nation wide. EDS will utilize CALNET's system for searching, acquiring and deploying technical human resources for supporting EDS development and outsourcing projects.

CALNET's "just-in-time staffing" system is an automated search and acquisition system which allows customers to reduce capital expenditures and increase employee productivity and moral. The system is designed to help clients significantly improve both revenue and profit performance by creating a more performance-oriented focus. Coupling the system with CALNET's face-to-face technical interviewing assessment process, hiring managers receive higher-grade resources with a shorter acquisition cycle.
