MSI
Outsources all of its Technical Recruiting to CALNET
September
20, 1999
The
world's leaders in medical scheduling software has outsourced
its entire technical recruiting function to CALNET. MSI has
spent thousands of dollars on advertising, interviewing, and
travel to support their recruiting efforts. Subsequently, the
development team they presently have in place represents tens
of thousands of dollars in recruiting initiatives.
"This
was a common sense decision," stated Glenn Hughes, Vice President
of Sales and Marketing, "MSI is not in the recruiting business,
they are in the software scheduling business, with a specific
and broad customer base consisting of medical professionals.
So to outsource that one function to a technical recruiting
expert conformed to their business plan."
For
the first year, MSI's cost savings is estimated at about $45,000
for MSI. This one figure represents advertising expenses which
MSI will no longer have to expense as part of the recruiting
line item in GS&A.
