IBM
Selects CALNET as Preferred Vendor of Choice
May

Big
Blue and CALNET entered into an agreement in May of 1999, where
IBM Global Services will utilize CALNET's search, acquisition
and deployment services for attaining the world's best technical
talent.
"IBM
Global Services (GS) needed a vendor that didn't compete with
them on the hardware side, but would preserve the IBM solutions
offering. And it was a plus that CALNET is familiar with IBM's
culture and global infrastructure. CALNET's Global Delivery
Services is an ideal match for IBM's GS division. Already we
have been engaged by IBM's European 390 Division and contacted
by IBM's Japanese Software Development Division. This relationship
has caused quite a stir," said Glenn Hughes, Vice President
of IT Solutions for CALNET.
CALNET's "just-in-time staffing" solutions allow customers to
reduce capital expenditures and increase employee productivity
and moral. These services are designed to help clients significantly
improve both revenue and profit performance by creating a more
performance-oriented focus.
