CALNET awarded FAA Help Desk contract
Reston, VA, May 22, 2009 – CALNET announced today
that it has been awarded the Federal Aviation
Administration’s contract to provide National Service Desk
and Desk Side Support Services worldwide to its Aviation
Safety (AVS) line of business.
CALNET will provide desk side support services at two of AVS’s largest
locations, the Washington DC metropolitan area and the Mike Monroney
Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well as to some AVS
field offices and overseas locations. CALNET will provide technical and
management capability to provide help desk and complete local office,
onsite deskside IT support for up to 151 AVS offices in locations
throughout North America, including Alaska, and several international sites
(Beijing, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Shanghai and Singapore). Additionally CALNET will
provide support to special projects and ensure ongoing
continuous improvement of the help desk operations.
