We are conducting a search for a Senior Telecom Test Engineer, beginning as soon as possible.  The selected candidate will be responsible for providing consultancy services to our client based in Rockville, MD. The candidate will participate in the product development cycle for the purpose of producing test documents against release requirements. Assignments will include development of test plans, executing test cases, automating test cases, working closely with the client's development team in the product release cycle. To be successful in this position the candidate must be enthusiastic and have a proactive attitude in software testing.

Job Requirements

Write detailed, comprehensive test procedures based on Marketing requirements and applications of Sentito products. Hold formal reviews to test documents and update documents based on comments from the review. Write automated test scripts using TCL and Quick Test Professional. Execute tests, document test results, and document any problems found during testing. Provide status reports on writing, test execution, and problems identified during testing. Test fixes for all problems identified during test execution and close out problem reports. Principals only.

Education and Skills

Requires a BSCS or BSEE or equivalent experience. Minimum 5+ years of Test Engineering experience. Must be able to work well in a team environment. Good verbal and written communication skills a must. Experience with VoIP. Experience with SS7, ISDN, and SIP. Experience with writing TCL scripts. Experience with Mercury Interactive Quick Test Professional is a plus.
