Description
Requires a PM/SI to fill the role of Customer Account Manager (CAM). Serves as primary two-way liaison between
the customer and all CIO support personnel. Collaborates with CIO and other support units for the successful operation of information systems and resolves
customer issues. Understands the customer’s policies, business processes, and goals and identifies improvements and strategies to enhance the mission. Develops
documentation as necessary to support understanding of the customer’s business functions. Acts as an advocate for the customer’s interests and works to
maintain good relationships between customers and CIO groups. Educates the customer on relevant technology topics and the impact of proposed technologies
on the customer’s business environment. Interfaces and interacts with other CAMs and CIO groups to identify synergies and leverage solutions across mission domains. Acts as a team leader for special projects that require cross-functional expertise. Coordinates work and supervises deliverables for project success. Serves on cross-functional teams or boards in support of
the customer’s mission or to further CIO success for cross-domain issues. Assist the project teams with defining and validating requirements to the extent
necessary for rapid prototyping to begin. Assist in coordinating project team meetings with end-users, as well as arrange TEMs between the project team and
appropriate contractor and vendor organizations. Assist the project team in scheduling project activities, preparing for control gate meetings and
briefings, and backing up the Government project manager at meetings and briefing. Plan and implement the integration of systems and services into the
user environment, including coordinating with other internal CIO and external stakeholders, developing transition, readiness, acceptance, and deployment
plans, as required, and executing those plans. Assist the project team in technical approach and design validation, requirements traceability, and technical feasibility studies, as needed.
Job Requirements
Experience developing project plans, master schedule, and contingencies, apprising the team leader on schedule slippage and potential problems, substantively reviewing project
technical documentation, advising and preparing the team leader and team on deliverables, and responding to project-related ad hoc requests, as needed.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with TS/SCI and Full Scope Polygraphs.
