Job Description Unix System Administrator responsible for project hardware infrastructure, including servers for development, testing, staging, and production and across multiple networks. Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the WebMethods servers. Define a physical architecture and implementation approach for WebMethods within the existing and future infrastructure. Configure system to support high availability and load balancing requirements. Job Requirements Previous experience as a system administrators on Windows and Unix platforms (Linux a plus). Experience with configuration of COTS software packages. Understanding of web services, web integration principles, middleware (webMethods preferred), or other integration experience at the enterprise level. Understanding of core elements of communication technologies such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMPT, XML, and SOAP, WSDL. Understanding of software security, especially the WSS standard. Experience configuring SSL and managing X.509 certs. Experience writing automated infrastructure maintenance scripts using ANT (preferred) or other scripting languages. Willingness to take on new challenges and environments on a frequent basis. Experience configuring high availability hardware solutions and routers for web application load balancing. Must be willing to take WebMethods 6 integration workshop (4 days) if haven't already attended. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with TS / SCI and FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH.
