UNIX System Administration Position with DOD Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Job Description

Our client a major Defence Contractor  has several open positions at its BWI facility for System Administrators to support the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Targeting product Line, which provides tactical exploitation capabilities to many of the armed services.  The clients environment consists of a heterogeneous network of Unix Workstations and PCs.

Job Requirements

Strong experience in Sun Solaris, with some exposure to SGI, Compaq platforms and RAID disks are desired.  The position requires the set up and installation of production hardware, COTS/GOTS and custom application software in preparation for formal testing in the BWI site.  Travel to field locations for initial installation, problem resolution and general field support occurs on an as needed basis. 

Travel is light to moderate and not required for every open position.  Candidate must possess a Special Access security clearance with an initial investigation or periodic update completed within the last 4.5 years.
