UNIX System Administration with TS/SCI Clearance

Job Description

We are looking for employees to work on a long term project in Columbia, MD with TS/SCI clearance. The candidate will be tasked with supporting UNIX, SUN, and/or SOLARIS desktops and software, to include installing, configuring and troubleshooting workstations and software. Some personnel will be assigned to UNIX Desktop Problem Resolution Support Team, visiting customers to resolve issues. Some will be assigned to the Remote Administration Team, supporting customers from a central location. Some will serve on MuIti-Skills Teams. Multi-Skills Teams support all aspects of desktops, new installs, and problem resolutions for UNIX and WINTEL systems. Personnel assigned to the Multi-Skills Teams are expected to cross-train with other team members to learn new skills, while helping others with mastering UNIX support.

Job Requirements

Looking for 5+ years (recent) experience working directly with UNIX/SUN/SOLARIS. Years of experience in direct supported function, education, training and certifications will affect Level selection. 

Occasional shift work is mandatory. Core support hours are 6am-6pm Monday-Friday (shifts are scheduled by supervisors). U.S. Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance. Some positions require LifeStyle poly.
