About the Job

We are looking for linguists in a variety of languages to provide foreign language interpretation, transcription, reporting, and translation services to the U.S. Army World-Wide.

Requirements

Please read these requirements carefully.  You must:

• ***BE A US CITIZEN WITH A MINIMUM INTERIM SECRET CLEARANCE***
• Have the ability to read, write and speak in clear and concise grammar and pronunciation of the Target language
• Be able to conduct consecutive, accurate translations
• Have familiarity with and ability to conduct oneself in accordance with the local culture and customs of your country
• Test at a minimum of Level 3 on the ILR scale both in the Target language and English
• Be very computer literate, with the ability to use the entire Microsoft Office suite
• Be in good medical and dental health before deployment.  

The Target Languages that we are seeking, with the corresponding required clearances, are as follows:

• Arabic in the following dialects ONLY: Yemeni, Tamashek, and Iraqi (Secret and TS/SCI)
• Arabic/Farsi (Secret)
• Pashto/Urdu and Dari (Secret and TS/SCI)
• Polish (Secret)
• Uzbek (Secret)
• Turkman (Secret)
• Tajik (Secret)
• Farsi (Secret and TS/SCI)
• Somali (TS/SCI only)
